Coles Baby & Toddler Club

Coles has revealed its first Baby & Toddler Club ambassador Cathy Freeman. Thrive was tasked with delivering this news along with the launch of the latest edition of the Coles Baby & Toddler Magazine and a new magazine App.

Cathy, an Olympic gold medallist and mother, joined the Coles Baby & Toddler Club as the new expert blogger, sharing her experiences as a mum and providing regular tips and advice to other parents.

The Coles Baby & Toddler Club is designed for mothers-to-be and parents of children up to the age of five. As an online resource, it provides valuable information including recipes, nutrition guides and articles to help mums across Australia.

To share the news of Cathy’s appointment as ambassador, Thrive hosted a high tea in our ‘own backyard’ – the gardens below our office at The Grounds café of Alexandria. The guest list was buzzing with key lifestyle and media personalities including the wonderful Mel Doyle (who was MC for the day), Jules Sebastian, Lizzy Lovett and Sally Obermeder, along with a list of other wonderful mums and their friends.

Thrive worked with media colleagues from leading parenting and lifestyle magazines for the announcement. The campaign saw Cathy appear on The Morning Show discussing her life as a new mother and how priorities have changed since the birth of her daughter, Ruby, sixteen months ago. News Limited broke the story exclusively and Kate Waterhouse took the opportunity to meet Cathy for the Sun Herald’s ‘A Date with Kate’.

Cathy’s latest blog and more information can be found here.
