
Fast cars, racing car driver appearances and the launch of the ‘next evolution’ in TV ‘#AUSGP2016
As the 2016 Formula 1® ROLEX AUSTRALIAN GRAND PRIX raced into town, Thrive joined Hisense, one of the top three television brands in Australia trackside for all the action.
As the Official Television supplier of the F1 Red Bull Racing Team and the 2016 Formula 1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix, Hisense and Thrive used the backdrop of the Melbourne event to officially launch the ‘Next Evolution’ of TV Technology, 4K ULED TV downunder.
Along with hosting technology, sports media and influencers in the Hisense lounge, highlights from the campaign also included Aussie hero, Daniel Ricciardo appearing at the official launch event and comic duo Hamish & Andy racing against Dan in a toy car around the Fox FM studio carpark! Thrivers also hosted a behind the scenes Pit Lane walk and visit to the Red Bull garage, daily appearances by the Red Bull Racing Team in the Hisense Lounge and of course the official launch of the ‘Next Evolution’ of TV Technology, 4K ULED TV.
While Dan may have not won on home soil, using the AusGP as a platform to launch 4 ULED TV downunder was a winner for Hisense!
