Thrive PR relaunches its popular Message & Media Training Masterclasses this month with a comprehensive line up of experienced media trainers and facilitators. The four new course offerings are Master the Message; Entrepreneur’s Masterclass; Refresh for Press & Crisis On-Call and are aimed at CEOs, business owners and company spokespeople and ambassadors.
The courses have been developed to address the changing media and marketing landscape that has placed increased demands on the need for high performing company spokespeople. The launch coincides with Thrive opening specially designed training facilities in Alexandria (10 minutes from Sydney Airport) that add to the existing training house in Melbourne.
Media trainers and presenters of the new courses are experts across print, radio, TV, online and content production. The line up includes more than fifteen trainers based around the country including; news producer and reporter Anita Clark, TV reporter Nick Etchells, seasoned radio presenter Tim Davies, social commentator and TV/radio presenter Melissa Hoyer, TV presenter Giaan Rooney, leading Live TV presenter Chris Jones, TV Screen Star Zoe Ventoura and motoring expert and radio presenter John Cadogan.
Thrive, an independently owned national PR agency, with established offices in both Melbourne and Sydney, has a client portfolio that includes Coles, Twitter AU & NZ, Callaway Golf and Compare the Market. The company has long provided media training services for company spokespeople from CEOs and brand managers to entrepreneurs, celebrities and other experts in their field.
Thrive’s Managing Director, Leilani Abels says, “Being proactive with spokespeople and being prepared for issues is key to managing and protecting your reputation. Crafting your brand messages and knowing your content is one thing, yet performing in front of an audience or on live television is another thing entirely. Having a prepared spokesperson who understands the media, knows what they want and who can deliver a company message is instrumental to a successful marketing campaign and overall brand management”.
Masterclasses are practical sessions with a focus on training techniques for use in front of live audiences and on camera. Courses are tailored to the needs of the participants and cater for all levels, from beginners through to seasoned media professionals, who may be newly appointed brand ambassadors. Participants are provided with course materials and a follow-up DVD of their work, filmed throughout the training day, as well as an evaluation report.
Leilani adds: “Those who would benefit from this course include company spokespeople preparing for news announcements or annual general meetings, CEOs, marketing managers, category managers, brand ambassadors, business owners and other industry experts.
