THRIVE EXPANDS WITH MULTIPLE APPOINTMENTS

Shannon Slade takes the reins in Thrive NZ as Senior Account Director: Shannon heads a team of local Kiwi consultants and is responsible for developing effective plans that deliver tangible business outcomes. Starting her career in journalism, Shannon’s enviable media network is teamed with experience in both agency and in-house roles. Past clients include Sunrice, Ch’i, Eggs Incorporated, Brother International NZ, NZ Cancer Society and Look Good Feel Better.

Also joining New Zealand in a newly created PR Assistant role is Emily O’Halloran: Recent Victoria University graduate, Emily kickstarts her promising PR career, providing essential daily support on key accounts.

On joining an expanding Thrive team, Shannon Slade said she was “thrilled to be joining an agency that is really making waves in the region. Thrive has a proven-track record of delivering effective and innovative campaigns for clients, which we’ve been implementing in the local market for companies like Monsanto, Cisco and KMart over the past 18 months already. Frances Browne has joined the Brisbane office as Senior Account Director: Frances will manage campaigns for Sealy and Triumph, provide additional strategic knowledge of the Queensland market for several of Thrive’s national clients, while also playing an instrumental role in driving office growth. Frances brings to the agency almost a decade of experience developing strategy and managing execution for an impressive stable of global and national brands. Her portfolio experience is diverse and has included Westfield, Super Retail Group, Sanofi Consumer Healthcare, the Brisbane Bullets, The Coffee Club, Mirvac, Tourism and Events Queensland and the Australian Road Safety Foundation.

Kate Young joins the Sydney team as an Account Director: An accomplished public relations specialist with ten years experience, Kate will support continued agency growth by delivering client results and creative strategy. Kate has worked across a variety of industries including government, tourism and public events, entertainment, FMCG, retail and automotive with major brands including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Goodman Fielder and Electrolux.
