We all love a good trolley story for one of the biggest supermarkets in the country.
As part of Thrive’s ongoing work with Coles, our latest announcement was a super special one, as Coles announcement that specially-designed trolleys for children with disabilities would now be available at all stores in NSW. This local news supported a twelve month national roll-out of additional needs trolleys at all Coles supermarkets across the country.
Originally based on a US trolley known as “Caroline’s Cart”, the trolley allows for a child of up to 70 kilograms in weight and has padding on the sides, a harness and additional support in its structure.
We worked with 244 Coles supermarkets across NSW and the ACT. We engaged the stores’ local media outlets to secure important media coverage for the initiative and we utilised local case studies in each area to demonstrate how the new trolley will be used by customers across states.
Thrive love working with our local media friends and this campaign was no different. It’s sensational to see the way that local media support and promote important news in their community both through traditional print media and online.
Thank you to all the media outlets who got behind this initiative.
