You know we don’t do things by halves at Thrive…it’s double or nothing in our world, so we are stoked to open two new offices this week in Brisbane and New Zealand.
Born in Melbourne, smashing it in Sydney and set to thrive in Brisbane and Auckland, the agency’s total number of offices in Australasia is now four. Thrive is one of the largest independent agencies in Australia.
The opening of the Brisbane and Auckland offices mark a significant milestone for us, although Thrive is no stranger to either market. Thrive has run campaigns throughout Queensland for many years yet this is the first local footprint for our agency. Thrive also has a solid track record in the New Zealand market having delivered high profile campaigns for TAG Heuer, Twitter, Mattel and Callaway Golf over the past decade.
In Australia, Thrive is famous for delivering cut-through public relations campaigns that aim to ‘shift the dial’ and make a commercial difference for brands. We can’t get enough of traditional and new media. Brisbane represents a sensational opportunity for us to cement our local and regional work with current clients and extend our work with other national brands. Thrive’s sports and sponsorship experience will be a key focus for our work in Queensland.
In Auckland, we will be working with Australian and global companies looking to expand into the New Zealand market, along with local companies who are seeking a new, high impact PR offering.
We have always sought to be at the forefront of our industry. We remain the only agency in Australia with a dedicated event and content production space, Thrive360. It has gone from strength to strength since opening in 2011 with the biggest name chefs and brands utilising the venue on a regular basis.
In Brisbane, our team will be based in premises in Newstead, whilst in New Zealand, Thrive will set up shop in buzzing Britomart, Auckland Central.
Our recruiting in Brisbane and Auckland has also commenced.
Our MD Leilani Abels says, “Thrive will continue to deliver exceptional career opportunities for local PR talent. Not only will Brisbane and Auckland based consultants have the chance to spearhead game-changing campaigns with the best local and global brands, but talent will also have the chance to learn and be a part of an agency that’s really going places.”
And, as always, we are truly grateful for the incredible support we have from our Thrivers, colleagues, families, and friends. We consider ourselves pretty damn lucky to have the chance to work with such standout people…so THANK YOU.
