The Australian Food & Grocery Council (AFGC) is Australia’s largest fee-based member organisation representing the food and grocery manufacturing industry.
Thrive is the agency on record representing the National Plastics Recycling Scheme, delivering communications strategy to support the program’s adoption and success.
We oversee and manage PR, content and digital campaigns to raise awareness and endorsement of this new program, while providing counsel to AFGC to support broader industry stakeholder and government relations. Critical to our strategy is educating and leveraging the AFGC’s influential member base, which includes Mars Wrigley, Mondelez (Cadbury) and Kelloggs, to advocate for the scheme.
The scheme will continue to roll out across Australia in an effort to change consumer behaviour towards soft plastics recycling and to deliver a more sustainable future for Australia.
